Toby has hand drawn an Oak Tree settlement, with fine line pen and textured yellow markings.
Tudor and rural societies were the basis of this artwork. The artwork harks back to perhaps an imaginary past, whereby people and nature coexisted symbiotically. The height of the oak is utilized for surveillance, scanning the planes below for trouble. While the base of the tree is used to support a windmill, milling precious grain for the inhabitants and surrounding area.
This is a high quality gicléeprint, on artist's archival paper. Signed by Toby.
